Closing ceremony and the final concert of VII International Music Festival in Gabala were held.

The closing ceremony and the final concert of the VII International Music Festival in Gabala took place with the support and organization of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.This festival has become a true musical feast, and Gabala has turned into a musical capital of the world during these days. This festival - one of the most important events in the cultural life of Azerbaijan – stuck in memory for the rich program and special guests. Performances of the most famous musicians of Europe and the world harmoniously combined with the fabulous nature of Gabala.The closing ceremony and the final concert of the VII Gabala International Music Festival held at the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center remembered by "sold out" notice.The deputy of National Assembly, chairman of the National Council of Elders, Fattah Heydarov, who was awarded by the Order of "Glory", made a speech at the closing ceremony, which was attended by MPs, ambassadors from foreign countries, state and government representatives and many foreign guests, and stressed that the VII Gabala International Music Festival, organized by the initiative and support of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, is a significant event in the life of our country.Fattah Heydarov expressed his gratitude for the organization of the festival to the president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva. Fattah Heydarov, said the following about the festival: "These days the greatest and most professional musicians of the world performed classical music in the enchanting and charming nature of Gabala," and noted that the festival has caused a great resonance. The MP also noted that all this became possible as a result of a coherent policy towards the development of our country, successfully implemented by President Ilham Aliyev, as a continuation of the political course of great leader Heydar Aliyev. Fattah Heydarov stressed that the foreign guests who attended the concert held in the framework of the VII Gabala International Music Festival on which outstanding musicians, artistic music groups, soloists and directors from 12 countries participated, have become more aware of Azerbaijan. He added that the festival is an important step in the development of Azerbaijani culture in the world. The event was widely publicized by local and foreign media. Fattah Heydarov wished to celebrate this festival in Karabakh and Shusha soon. Artistic director of the festival, rector of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, People's Artiste Farhad Badalbeyli pointed out in his speech that festival took place by virtue of the close support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Farhad Badalbеyli on behalf of the participants expressed his gratitude to the president of Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva. He noted that Azerbaijan has always been notable for its musical culture. Heydar Aliyev Foundation is implementing a number of major projects for the retention and promotion of the musical heritage of the country. The music festival is traditionally being held annually since 2009 and causes great public outcry both in our country and abroad. From 25 to 31 July, the ancient town of Gabala hosted a music festival which is a grand international project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. At the end, head of the Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi" Grigory Kovalevsky congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the successful completion of a music festival. The final concert of the festival began after the speeches. The stage was passed to the Chamber Orchestra "Moscow Virtuosi". Director of the State Symphony Orchestra "New Russia", cellist winner of the "Grammy", artistic director of the Gabala International Music Festival Dmitry Yablonsky (US-Russia), artistic director of the festival, rector of Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, People's Artiste Farhad Badalbeyli (on piano) and the famous musician of Russia Sergei Nakariakov (on trumpet) also featured at the concert of ensemble under the direction of renowned director Paul Meyer. During the performance the ensemble showed great skill, individual style of performance, and thus left invaluable impression on audience. On the concert of ensemble, which distinguished with European style of performance, featured compositions of composers Fikret Amirov, V.Mustafazade, A.Piazzolla, V.A.Mozart, J.Arban. The last concert of the festival ended with a load cheers and fireworks.
