"Day of Azerbaijan" will be held in Korea.

From August 21 to October 18 of this year the festival will be held under the name "Gyeongju Silk Road" in the city of Gyeongju, Republic of Korea. During the festival the period of August 25 to 30 will be declared as the "Day of Azerbaijan". In connection with this, during the festival performances of the Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble, Ensemble of Ancient Musical Instruments, a pianist, two opera singers and art workers of the city of Gabala are expected. At the festival, the signing of the memorandum of twinning between the city of Gyeongju, Republic of Korea, and Gabala of the Republic of Azerbaijan is planned.
