Women shooters from China won two more medals at the World Cup in Gabala.
The Gabala Stand and Archery Complex continued competition for the World Cup in Olympic shooting. On August 13 the competitions were held among women of rifle shooting at 50 meters. 8 athletes from Russia, China, Croatia, USA, Poland and other countries took part in the final stage of the competition. Chinese athlete Dongi Jen ahead of rivals won the first place with 456.2 points, and brought the team 5 gold medal and the license for the Summer Olympic Games. Siling Yi (China) with 455.4 points ranked second, Anna Zukova (Russia) with 444.8 - the third. After the competition, the ceremony of awarding of athletes was held. The head of Gabala District Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev took part in the awards ceremony. At present, Chinese athletes are in the first place with 9 medals at World Cup competitions. Among them 5 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals. During the shooting competition, continuing for 6 days in the complex, still 20 athletes won the license for the Summer Olympic Games to be held next year in Brazil.
