Japanese athlete won the gold medal of the competition for the World Cup.

On August 14 Gabala hosted the competition among women for the World Cup in trap-shooting. 8 athletes took part in the final round of the competition. Japanese athlete Yukie Nakayama won the first place, Taiwanese athlete Joon Lee Ying won the second and the athlete from the United States Corey Kogdell - third place. The awards ceremony was attended by the Head of Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev. So far 30 athletes participating in shooting competitions, lasting 7 days, received a license for the Summer Olympic Games to be held next year in Brazil.
