Conference of Education workers was held.
On September 9, the conference of education workers was held in Gabala. First of all, visiting the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, erected in the centre of Gabala, the participants laid flowers to it. Plenary session of the conference was held at the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center. The event was opened by the Head of the Education Department of Gabala region Ogtay Hajiyev, national anthem of Azerbaijan Republic was sounded. Then Head of the Regional Education Department Ogtay Hajiyev made a report "On the results of the 2014-2015 academic year and the challenges that education workers will face in the new academic year". Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Azerbaijan Republic Fattah Heydarov, head of the Executive Power of Gabala region Sabuhi Abdullayev, representative of the Ministry of Education Farzali Gadirov, head of the Department of Youth and Sports Fakhri Soltanov, director of Chukhur Gabala secondary school Mushfig Azizov, teacher of Gabala city secondary school No.4 Vafa Ibrahimova, teacher of secondary school No.1 of Vandam settlement Zohra Mirzayeva, teacher of secondary school of Nohurgishlag village Shafag Abdullayeva, deputy director of secondary school No.1 of Nij settlement Emil Zaki and the graduate of Gabala city secondary school No.1 Tarana Shirinbayli, who showed the highest score entering the higher schools, made speeches related to the discussed issues. During the conference the decision was made on the issue. A group of graduates who have successfully completed the 2014-2015 academic year, and most advanced teachers were awarded prizes and diplomas by the Executive Power and the Department of Education of Gabala region. Participants of the conference adopted an appeal to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan highly respected Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
