Taekwondo tournament started.
Gabala Olympic Sports Complex with the joint organization of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in our country and the Ministry of Youth and Sports hosted the taekwondo competitions among youth named "Korean Ambassador's Cup". The competition, which is scheduled for September 12-13, athletes are fighting involved in sports departments, being members of the ATF, with the proper training. Tournament is managed by the judge and the organizing committee of the ATF, the Department of Youth and Sports of Gabala region. The tournament aims to promote and develop taekwondo in Azerbaijan and the regions, improve the work of taekwondo departments operating in the country, develop the relations in the field of sports between Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Korea, enhance the experience and skills of athletes. The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Azerbaijan Mr. Choi Suk-Ying, vice-president of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation Naghi Safarov, first deputy head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Abil Aghasafov and the head of the Department of Youth and Sports Fakhri Soltanov.
