The concert of CIS countries’ cultural figures was held in Gabala.
Solemn concert was held with the participation of famous cultural figures of CIS countries in Gabala that was declared the capital of culture in 2013 in accordance with the decision of Commonwealth of Independent Countries Board dated December 5, 2012 pursuant to CIS “Capitals of Culture Programme”.Before the concert, the visitors got acquainted with tourism infrastructure of Gabala as well as followed closely production and processing operations in the industrial facilities. People’s artist of Georgia Iya Ninidze, honoured artists of Russia Timofey Fyodorov, Boris Galkin, honoured artist of Moldova and Russia Svetlana Toma, Russian composer and actor Gleb Matveychuk as well as Russian actresses Anastasia Makeyeva, Nino Ninidze and Inna Razumikhina performed at the stage of concert held in Gabala Cultural Center on March 13.Film frames where the cultural figures had been featured were presented in the concert, music samples of Azerbaijani, Russian and European composers from their repertoire were performed. The concert created wonderful atmosphere for audience of Gabala.
