"The Knowledge Day" was celebrated.
On September 15 in connection with the new school year in all secondary schools of the district "The Knowledge Day" holiday was celebrated. During the celebrations the care was mentioned in detail, given to the education in recent years in Gabala, which entered the path of intensive development. It was noted that in preparation for the 2015-2016 school year in all schools the ongoing renovation work was carried out, they have been provided with new inventory and equipment. As a result of the fact that the attention paid to the development of education in the region became sustainable, today an opening ceremony of a new building of secondary school No. 5 in Gabala for 360 students was held. The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Republic of Azerbaijan, MP Fattah Heydarov, Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov. During the celebrations, they talked about the work done today towards the implementation and development by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev of the tradition of public concern about education, the foundation of which was laid by the national leader Heydar Aliyev, it was noted that this care is integrated into the global system of education, preserving the characteristics of the national education. Speakers talked about the work carried out in the further development based on the rich and progressive traditions of the education in Azerbaijan, the national-spiritual and universal values, international experience. They congratulated the teaching staff of educational institutions, students and parents on the occasion of the "Knowledge Day ", the new school year and the opening of a new school building, wished them success. Then the children were presented with school supplies and bags. The participants of the festival expressed their deep gratitude to the head of state for the attention and care to education in our country.
