A new administrative building of the Medical and Social Expert Commission was commissioned.

A new administrative building of meeting the modern standards, covering the Gabala and Oguz regions Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) No. 18 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Speaking at the opening ceremony, head of the State Service of Social and Medical Expertise and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population Ilgar Gurbanov said that the work is continued to improve material and technical base of medical and social expertise provided to the population in the regions and align with modern requirements of disability studies. He noted that currently 38 Regional MSEC operates under the Ministry and within the last year the necessary measures are taken to bring their working conditions in accordance with modern requirements. Head of the Service noted that 31 MSEC for the region are already provided with modern working conditions. By the end of the year further 7 regional commissions will be provided with new working conditions, devices for examination, and modern equipment. The main goal is the citizens being explored under normal operating conditions, and to provide them with quality service. Accommodation in one building of MSEC and other local structures of the Ministry of the region, enables us to provide services to citizens in the conditions of work in connection with the medical and social expertise to ensure the rights to social protection, employment and labor. Speaking during the meeting, head of the department of the Ministry on the disabled social protection policies Saday Abdullayev said that the recent works done to ensure the transparency of service of medical and social expertise, created conditions for a sharp reduction in the number of complaints related to this area, provision in the commissions of services to the public at a decent level, the normal survey of disability. The Decree of the President Ilham Aliyev "On improving the system of evaluation of disability and limited health abilities" dated on September 14, 2015 is the beginning of the next stage of reforms in relation to this area. Successful implementation of this decree will both improve the application of modern information technologies, and further enhance the quality of services on medical and social expertise and rehabilitation. Then, the event participants got acquainted with the activities of MSEC employees, new working conditions, equipment, the services of medical and social expertise to the citizens, the conditions created for the survey of disability.
