Productivity has increased compared to last year.
The fruits harvesting began in the villages of Gabala region. To make harvesting on time and without loss the proper measures are performed in gardens. This year, farmers have grown a rich harvest of 386 hectares of chestnut garden and 156 hectares of walnut garden. According to experts, this year, favorable weather and provision of the necessary agro-technical care to the trees give grounds to say that the productivity will be more compared to the previous year will. For further development of gardening, which is considered the main source of income for the rural population, annually consecutive steps are taken. Over the past year, farmers planted 20 new hectares of chestnut and 32 hectares of walnut. Last year, the gardeners got 321 tons of walnut, 390 tons of chestnut.
