“Gabala” has completed the tournament in the 2nd place.
“Antalya Cup” tournament held in Turkey has been summed up. The “Gabala” team of 15 years old players has finished the tournament in the 2nd place. Our countrymen held 6 games in the tournament in which 4 teams struggled with round system in two circles. Our team was beaten by “Lokomotiv” (Russia) by a score of 0:2 in the first cycle, and won “Antalyaspor” (Turkey) by a score of 3:1. Their game ended in a draw 1:1 with “Dunarea” (Romania). In the second game with the Russian team our footballers again was beaten by the same score (0:2), but won the host 3:2 with 3 goals. Prior to the last tour of the “Antalya Cup” tournament, since “Lokomotiv” was in the 1st and Turkish club in the last place, the game between “Gabala” and “Dunarea” determined the 2nd place. Beating the game by a score of 1:0, with its 3rd win in the tournament our team increased its score to 10 points and came second in “Antalya Cup”. Noteworthy that, winning in all 8 games held in U-15 League, our team has settled in the leaders group.
