Constitution Day was celebrated.
An event on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the Heydar Aliyev Centre. Zahid Afandiyev, the Officer of Gabala District Executive Power, opened the event with his opening speech. He gave broad information to the participants about history of our Constitution and National Leader Heydar Aliyev's great services in the development and adoption of this basic law. Afterwards, the Director of Gabala Local History Museum Khalis Mammadov, the teacher of the City Secondary Schoold №.3 Maleyka Rasulova, the employee of "Gabala" newspaper Gudrat Samadov, and others made speeches on this theme and emphasized development of our Constitution adopted by nation-wide vote and main essence of which has been devoted to human rights and freedoms by using the constitution experiences of the most democratic, civilized, developed countries of the world, as well as its reflection of nationality. The event was concluded by Zahid Afandiyev.
