Professional holiday of Justice Workers celebrated.
Justice system has a rich history in Azerbaijan. The justice history of our independent country begins with the establishment of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in 1918. The Ministry of Justice was created on May 28 of the same year and a wide range of decisions regarding the operation of justice authorities and of courts were adopted. As well as, on November 14 the statutes of Azerbaijan Court House and on November 22 the statutes of the Ministry of Justice were approved in 1918. After Azerbaijan re-gained the independency, substantive measures were implemented by Heydar Aliyev, nationwide leader in order to increase the level of the activity of the justice authorities to the level of modern requirements, the role and importance of the justice authorities expanded in the society. Every year on November 22 the professional holiday of the justice workers is celebrated in our country under the decree dated November 11, 2000 by nationwide leader. In order to celebrate their professional holiday today the justice workers of the district came to Heydar Aliyev Park in the centre of the city, put bunches of fresh flowers on the monument of the national leader and expressed their deep respect to the great person. Arif Allahverdiyev, the deputy head of Gabala District Executive Power and the heads of law-enforcement bodies of the district participated in the ceremony.
