Conference on provision of effective youth employment
A conference on "Organization of work in professional direction in provision of effective youth employment" was held at Gabala city school No.1. IX-XI class students of the secondary schools of the city took part at the conference. Making speech at the conference Elkhan Salimov, the Director of Region Employment Centre, informed the attendees about the current situation in the labour market, and in order to help them choose profession he stressed conferences, seminars, and trainings of the Centre, and gave broad information to jobseekers about the services provided by the Centre. Bringing to attention the important role of choice of profession in provision of effective youth employment he gave detailed explanation to the students about professional direction, classification and types of occupations, and principles of necessity of professional training. Elkhan Salimov emphasized involvement of 1445 among IX-XI class students of 17 secondary schools of the region during 11 months of 2015, and spoke about the contributions this activity would give to elimination of unemployment.
