December, 31 – World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day was celebrated.
Festive events, dedicated to December, 31 – World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day were celebrated at all administrations, organizations, companies, cultural and educational centers and general education schools of Gabala region. It was noted that this date has a significant role in establishment of relations, in creation unity and solidarity among Azerbaijanis, residing in separate countries. The fact that Haydar Aliyev, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, on December 16, 1991 announced December 31 as World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day for the purpose of the creation unity among the Azerbaijanis of the world has been noted at the festive. Thus, beginning from that date, December 31 has been celebrated as an honourable day for all Azerbaijanis. It was brought to the attention that political course of the nationwide leader Haydar Aliyev is successfully continued by Mr. Ilham Aliyev, significant role of the conducted activities and held events in conveying Azerbaijani reality to the whole world was emphasized.
