Executive representative office of Hamzali village held meeting on the works done in the social-economic field in the village in 2015 and on the challenges ahead in 2016. Representatives of rural community and elders, intellectuals took part in the meeting. Nazir Jabbarov, village executive officer, reported on the works done in 2015, and the challenges ahead in 2016 were discussed in the meeting. The report said that 1686 people live at 420 farms and mainly engage in plant production, vegetable gardening, livestock, generally in agricultural production, and they have planted barley in 33 ha area and wheat in 205 ha area for this year’s production. Regular review to the areas, carrying out spraying against pests, giving fertilizers to landowners on a preferential basis were brought to notice and providing necessary assistance to the manufacturers by the representation in this direction was noted. Beginning the construction of natural gas pipeline in the village last year and rapid continuation of installation work at present, improving the supply of drinking water of the people, repair of roads and social facilities in the village were marked. Villagers expressed their satisfaction with the refurbishment works done in the village and made suggestions in the solution of the problems in the settlement. A draft resolution was adopted in the report meeting.
