"Gabala" judoists won two medals at the international tournament.

The Italian town Lignano Sabbiadoro hosted 21st International Judo Tournament among teenagers and young people - "Alpe Adria". The competition, which was attended by 988 judoists, within the team consisting of Azerbaijani youth was also attended by the members of "Gabala" Sports Club. Our team won 9 medals, judokas of our club won 2 of them. Fighting in the weight category of 60 kg, Ismail Ibrahimov, defeating all opponents till the final, only in the final left the mat defeated. So our judoka won the silver medal. Fighting in the same weight category Rufat Taghizade in Italy won the bronze medal. Note that in the team standings, our team concluded the tournament in the first place.
