Regional championship on Polyathlon “I'm Ready To Protect The Motherland”.
Regional championship competition was held on Polyathlon “I'm Ready To Protect The Motherland” in Gabala.
The objective of holding the competition is to prepare teenagers and the youth morally and physically for the protection of the motherland, to increase love and patriotism of the youth to the motherland, to strengthen the military training of the youth during military service and up to the military challenge, to improve competition experience and skills among the sportsmen and to determine region champion.
Teams of general education schools participated in the competition held on 100 meters sprint race, chin-up and grenade throwing under the rules of International Polyathlon Association.
The team of full secondary school of Kichik Amili village won the 1st place, the team of full secondary school No. 1 of Gabala city won the 2nd place and full secondary school of Kichik Pirali won the 3rd place in the regional championship. Winning teams have been awarded with the diplomas of the Youth and Sports office.
