The 10th anniversary of the Gabala State Art Gallery was celebrated.
The Gabala State Art Gallery launched in February 2006 had a glorious path. In recent years the gallery organized the exhibitions, consisting of works by local and national artists, art designers, graphic artists, which were well received by the public. In connection with the 10th anniversary of the gallery, the works of 5 artists and 5 local craftsmen were presented at the event, which was organized in Gabala Cultural Center. The head of the district department of culture and tourism Nargila Gafarova, opening ceremony, spoke about the work done over the 10 years since the openning of the gallery, achievements, expressed appreciation to the people who took part in the creation of the gallery. Later, the director of the cultural center, the artist Malik Aghayev, director of the State Art Gallery Javidan Mammadov and others greeted the participants and spoke about the exhibitions held during the period, the work of young artists. It was noted that at present in the gallery, where 8 people work, along with painting, weaving group functions. Then the exhibition was viewed.
