Participants of the educational tour-action, held under the motto "Learning our country", left Gabala with pleasant impressions.

Educational tour-action, carried out under the motto "Learning our country", for students of IX-XI classes of cities and districts of our republic, continues. Students from Barda, Agjabedi and Mingachevir involved in tour-action via Ismayilli-Gabala-Shaki, on March 17 familiarized with the historical monuments, tourist attractions, scenic spots, customs and traditions of the Gabala region, as well as industrial enterprises and social facilities built in recent years. Students, who arrived in Gabala, visited the Heydar Aliyev Center. Students attending the center, watched the photographs and documents reflecting life and political activity of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The students made collective memory photo in front of the museum. Then the tour-action participants visited "Tufandaq" Winter-Summer Tourism Complex, Congress Center named after Heydar Aliyev, Local History Museum, "Beltmann" piano factory and "Gilan Food Town". Students who visited the Nij settlement were given information about the "Chotari" Albanian-Udi Church. It was noted that from a historical point of view, the church is one of the oldest and important monuments. Nij settlement is considered a small model of tolerance. It has three churches and two mosques. 3700 Udis live in the settlement, population of which makes six thousand people. It was noted that in the primary schools of the Nij settlement Udi language is taught. Then, the students arriving in the Chukhur Gabala village also inquired about the remains of the ancient city of Gabala and archaeological excavations conducted in the territory. At the end of the visit to Gabala, the students acquainted with the "Qafqaz Riverside", "Qafqaz Resort", "Qafqaz Yeddi Gözəl", "Qafqaz Karvansaray" five-star hotels, "Qəbələnd" leisure and entertainment complex, modern tourist infrastructure created in the area, beautiful nature. On March 18 schoolchildren with pleasant impressions went to Shaki city.
