A training under the name of “Establishment of business for the persons with disability“was held

“Support for Social Economic Development” society, with the support of Azerbaijan representation of the humanitarian organization “World Vision International” launched the project of “Positive Changes in the lives of the persons with disabilities” in 10 regions. The first training on “Establishment of business for the persons with disability” within the above stated project was held in Gabala region on November 28, 2013. 25 young people with disabilities took part in the official training on “Establishment of Business”. In the training elementary information on support of private enterprise, preparation of business plans, as well as organization of service were delivered to the participants.At the same time, information on expansion of employment opportunities and professional rights of the persons with disabilities was given. Besides it, much attention was paid to planning, supervision, economic analysis, control over quality and customer care topics. Such methods as interactive tasks, discussions, and preparation of business plans were used during the training. After involvement of the young people with disabilities participating in the training for the duration process of the project, as well as to the business trainings on the specialized professions, they will be supported with micro grant projects to set up their own private businesses. The responsible representative of the head office of “World Vision International” humanitarian organization Ross Pipper, who was on trip in Azerbaijan, the director of Azerbaijan representation of the same organization Georgy Devidze, the project manager Vugar Ahmadov, the representative of Gabala REP Tural Baghirov participated in the opening ceremony of the project as guests. In his opening speech, the chairman of the “Support for Social Economic Development” society Galib Nabiyev greeted the guests and gave extensive information on the project. He noted that the aim of the project is to develop private entrepreneurial and business abilities of the young people with disabilities living in the regions and to help them to prepare and realize their business plans by means of professional trainings. As the result of the trainings, the business plans prepared by the young people with disabilities, will be evaluated and in the further step, they will be provided with support for their realization. Then the guests spoke and expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the trainings and stressed out the significance of these trainings from the point of view of expansion of employment opportunities of the persons with disabilities.
