Our martyr was paid last respects.
Shirinov Sahil Hasrat oglu, born in 1992, an officer of the Azerbaijani Army died as a result of shelling by the enemy during a combat mission on the contact line of Azerbaijani-Armenian troops in the direction of Terter region, was buried on April 6 at his native Gabala region. The body of the Martyr Sahil Shirinov was committed to the ground at the cemetery in the village of Bum of Gabala region, the prayers were read for the peace of his soul. The funeral ceremony, along with representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, employees of Gabala Region Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, groups of departments and organizations, thousands of residents of the region, was attended by the soldiers and officers of the military unit where the martyr served. Speakers at the ceremony said that the mighty Azerbaijani army is always ready to give an adequate response to the enemy, the blood of our martyrs will not go unavenged, closely uniting around the President, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, they are waiting for his order. At the funeral ceremony the slogan "Martyrs are immortal, Motherland is indivisible" was sounded, the officer was paid last respects to the sound of volleys. The tricolour flag of Azerbaijan was handed over to the father of martyr. During the ceremony Zaman Shirinov noted that he is proud of his brother martyr Sahil. He asked Allah to rest the souls of all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their country.
