A conference on the subject of "The role of parents in career choice of school students" was held.

With the organizational support of the Gabala Region Employment Center in Gabala city high school No.5 with the participation of parents and students of IX-XI classes a conference was held on "The role of parents in career choice of school students". At first, the memory of martyrs who died as a result of provocation by the Armenian armed forces on the front line in the early hours of April 2, was honored with a minute of silence.Then, opening the conference, the director of the District Employment Centre Elkhan Salimov, referring to the success of the targeted personnel policy of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev by our esteemed President Ilham Aliyev, gave detailed information about the important work being done in the country in the field of employment.Expressing to event participants his opinion about the Law of Azerbaijan Republic "On Employment", as well as the services provided at the centers for the unemployed and job seekers, he noted the current situation in the labor market, factors that may create unemployment, and that the choice of profession is important to ensure effective youth employment.It was noted that parents play an important role in guiding children to choose the right profession. Then speaking at the conference, the representative of Gabala region Executive Power Parvin Mammadov, Senior Consultant of the State Employment Service Javid Suleymanov, a psychologist at the State Employment Service Khatira Safarova, representative of the District Department of Education Ikhtiyar Shirinov informed in detail about the "career guidance", "classification of occupations", "classes of professions", "requirements laid down for people by occupations". It was noted that such measures of employment, carried out in the region play an important role in educating the public, strengthening their social protection, and providing citizens with permanent job and are considered by the residents as care for them. As a result, the questions of the participants were answered.
