The implementation of the petition project titled "Establish justice and prevent a great catastrophe" successfully continues in Gabala.
Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan (ACSDA) launched the implementation of a project of the petition titled "Establish justice and prevent a great catastrophe". Within the framework of the project on the Internet site of the White House Administration, the petition is launched to the Administration of US President Barack Obama. To this end, district executive power held an educational meeting with representatives of departments, enterprises and organizations, as well as administrative territorial districts. At the meeting, informing in detail about the petition titled "Establish justice and prevent a great catastrophe", head of the sector of information support and analysis of the Gabala Region Executive Power Zahir Kerimov stressed the importance of maintaining a broad ideological struggle in this direction. It was noted that according to the rules, to get an answer to the petition in the voting, which will run until May 5th, the signatures (electronic form) of at least 100 thousand people is needed. Thirteen plus people can sign the petition. It was noted that in this appeal it is brought to the attention the Armenian occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and other Azerbaijani territories, which is emphasized in the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe number 2085 (2016), the fact that the ecological aggression of Armenia, deliberately committed against Azerbaijan, is an environmental crisis, demand for the immediate retreat of the Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories, warning that the current status of Sarsang reservoir, located in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan could lead to a humanitarian catastrophe. The speaker brought to the attention that in this ideological struggle every Azerbaijani has a big task. Stressing serious pressure against Azerbaijan in the world, he noted the importance of participation in the petition "Establish justice and prevent a great catastrophe". At the meeting the rules for participation in the petition were explained, the participants were given educational materials.
