An expanded meeting devoted to results of socio-economic development of Gabala region for the first quarter of 2016 was conducted.
On April 19 in connection with the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, chaired by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dedicated to the socio-economic development of the first quarter of 2016, in the region executive power the expanded meeting was conducted devoted to the work done during this period in Gabala, and the challenges ahead. The members of the Board of the Head of the Region Executive Power, representatives of city, township and village administrative units, heads of departments, enterprises and organizations, as well as the chairpeople of the municipalities were invited to the meeting. Opening the meeting, Head of the Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev gave a detailed summary report on the work done in Gabala region in the first quarter of 2016, and the challenges ahead. The chief engineer of the Gabala Distribution Network Site Nurmammad Naibov, director of the Gabala Region Center for Employment Elkhan Salimov, director of the Gabala District Center of Social Protection of Population Arzu Hajiyev and teacher of Gabala Vocational School Afsana Khalilova spoke on the subject of the report. Then taking part in the meeting Chairperson of the Republic Council of Elders, MP Fattah Heydarov, welcoming the participants of the meeting, praised the work done in Gabala region during the first quarter of 2016, and the challenges ahead, spoke about the economic reforms taking place in the country. At the end of the meeting the appropriate decision was taken regarding the challenges coming in the socio-economic sphere in 2016. The Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev summed up the meeting.
