Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States, Juan Rodrigo Labardini Flores arrived in Gabala region.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to Azerbaijan Republic Juan Rodrigo Labardini Flores travelled to Gabala for informational purposes. Plenipotentiary Ambassador, who was welcomed in Gabala REP by the Head of the Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, was provided with detailed information about the historical, economic, social and cultural life of the region. It was noted that this great place located in the lap of the fascinating nature, hosts international and large-scale events. The important events held here regularly contribute to the intensive growth of the development phase. It has been said that the activities of the industrial enterprises existing in the region, are part of the dynamics of the district development. It has been brought to the attention that today tourism infrastructure is considered one of the major and important areas in Gabala region. The result of the excellent facilities provided here is a noticeable increase in the number of tourists coming here every year for recreation. Ambassador Juan Rodrigo Labardini Flores, saying that he visited many regions of Azerbaijan, noted that the visit to Gabala region is exploratory in nature. The Ambassador said that today there are good opportunities for cooperation between the two countries and establishing closer partnerships, he said that rapid economic development processes taking place in Azerbaijan made a deep impression on him, and these development stages didn't pass by the Gabala region also. Sharing his thoughts on cooperation in the sphere of tourism, Ambassador, who talked about the potential of cooperation between our countries, as well as the similarity between our cultures, cuisines, spheres serving the mutual recognition and convergence, said that our country is famous around the world for it hospitality. During the meeting, which took place in an atmosphere of mutual sincerity, the sides exchanged views on various aspects of bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation in different fields. Then Plenipotentiary Ambassador got acquainted with the historical and cultural sites, manufacturing facilities and the tourism sector.
