"Bilik" competition was held, dedicated to May 28 - Republic Day.
With organizational support of the Department of Youth and Sport, with the participation of the District Education Department, in the auditorium of the Gabala city secondary school No. 1, the final stage of the competition "Bilik", dedicated to the "May 28 - Republic Day" was held among the upper secondary schools of Gabala city. In accordance with the Regulations on holding the competition, the competition "Bilik" was attended by students of IX classes of secondary school as part of teams. The competition was held on the following subjects: Azerbaijani language - Literature, History, Mathematics-Geometry, Geography, Physics, Biology, Chemistry. Questions have been prepared and presented to the teams by the jury in writing, one of the team members answered the question in the written form. At the awards ceremony in their speeches, Head of the Department of Youth and Sports Fakhri Soltanov, methodologist of the Department of Education, chairman of the jury Aslan Shirazov congratulated the participants on the occasion of the Republic Day - May 28. Speakers at the same time say that the purpose of the competition is the education of the rising young generation in the spirit of respect for the state, Azerbaijani people's history, state symbols, and at the same time raising the intellectual level, knowledge and skills among pupils. As a result for the amount of collected points, I place took the team of the Hamzali village secondary school, II place took the team of the Gabala city secondary school No.2 and III place took the city secondary school team No.3. Soltannuha village secondary school team was distinguished for active participation. As a result of the competitions, the winners (taking I, II, III places) and distinguished teams were awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts.
