A zonal championship of the competition "Young rescuers and firefighters" was held.
The main purpose of the event, held with the organizational support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and with support of the Ministries of Education, and Youth and Sports was to increase the level of training of junior and youth in the field of emergency situations, to develop their sense of responsibility in respect of personal and public safety, as well as to form the military-patriotic spirit, promote healthy lifestyle among schoolchildren. Competitions were started with the ceremonial parade of the teams in front of the podium under the sounds of the national anthem. The teams of schools of Gobustan, Shamakhi, Agsu, Ismayilli, Gabala, Oguz, Sheki, Gakh, Zagatala, Balakan regions competed within the competition. The competition was held in three stages - competitions fire relay, young experts and the presentation of the teams. At the end of the competition, held in conditions of persistent struggle, I place took the team of full secondary school No.6 named after N.Behdiyev of Ismayilli region, II place - the team of secondary school named after T.Yagubov in the Bum settlement of Gabala region, III place - the team of school-lyceum No. 3 of Gakh city. Teams who have distinguished themselves in the competition were awarded with diplomas and certificates of honor. The team that took first place, won the right to participate in the final stage of the republican contest "Young rescuers and firefighters."
