Members of the meeting of the CIS States Council for Physical Culture and Sport acquainted with the objects of sport, tourism and production in Gabala.
The meeting of the Council for Physical Culture and Sports of the parties of Agreement on cooperation of the CIS states in the sphere of physical culture and sports finished in Gabala city. Participating in the Council meeting on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the CIS, senior officials of Ministries of Physical Culture and Sport of Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan got acquainted with the objects of sport and tourism, manufacturing facilities in Gabala region. First, members of the delegation got detailed information on the history of the region, the implementation of various projects under the program of socio-economic development and modern sports and tourist infrastructure, created in Gabala. Information about the cultural and historical monuments in the region has also left good impression in guests. Participants of the Council meeting, in turn, expressed their appreciation for the hospitality and brought to the attention that they witnessed rapid development not only of the capital - the Baku city, but also regions, including the Gabala region. After that, members of the delegation got acquainted with the Congress Center of Heydar Aliyev, "Tufandag" winter summer tourist holiday complex, Gabala Archery and Trap Shooting Complex, "Beltman" piano factory. Guests interested in fascinating nature and tourist infrastructure in the region left Gabala with pleasant impressions.
