A district-wide event was held in the Gabala Cultural Center dedicated to June 15 - National Salvation Day. The participants first laid flowers at the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of the city, and paid tribute to the brilliant personality. Then opening the festive event, continued in the auditorium of the cultural center, Head of the Department for Public-Political and Humanitarian Affairs of the region executive power, deputy head of the district executive power Ataya Osmanova spoke about the historical importance of June 15 - National Salvation Day. As reported, the work undertaken by the great leader Heydar Aliyev in the name of development and enhancement of the power of our country in the period of his leadership in Azerbaijan is highly appreciated by our people. Revival in the socio-political, economic and cultural life during this period is the result of the Day of National Salvation. It is for this reason that every citizen of Azerbaijan celebrates the 15th of June - the return to power of the national leader Heydar Aliyev - as a national holiday, the Day of National Salvation. Today, Azerbaijan is in safe keeping. As a result of the wise, confident, extremely courageous, at the same time, balanced domestic and foreign policies of President Ilham Aliyev, a worthy successor of the political legacy of national leader Heydar Aliyev, serving the national interests of the people, our country is developing dynamically in all spheres, social welfare is improved with each passing day, authority of our country as a reliable partner is steadily growing in the world. She noted that modern, independent Azerbaijan, created and left us as the heritage by the national leader, and now under the leadership of our dear President Ilham Aliyev is transforming into a strong and rich country, and brought to the attention that our unity, our force are a clear example of fidelity to the ideas of the great leader. Then, an interesting concert program was presented, prepared by Gabala Cultural Center.
