IV International tournament and V Republican championship, organized by the MOE, were summed up.

On July 2, 2016 the IV International tournament "Young Rescuer" and V Republican Championship "Young rescuer and firefighter", held with the organizational support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, with the support of the Baku UNICEF Office, the Ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, were summed in the Gabala city. The final event was attended by the Minister for Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ismail Ismailov.
First exhibition educational performances of young rescuers were shown.
After that, a "round table" under the leadership of Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov and with the participation of the team captains was held in the Gabala Palace of Culture. The minister brought to attention that the ongoing competition opens to young people opportunities to obtain experience in the field of emergency response and stressed the importance of continuing such activities. Emergency Situations Minister also answered the questions of the participants of "round table".
Young foreign rescue workers who are members of the competition, expressed satisfaction from the competition of such a high level, expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is the organizer of the event.
The participants of the event also visited the exhibition "Emergency situations through the eyes of children", consisting of manual works of foreign and local students.
During the event a video about the competitions, prepared by Ministry of Emergency Situations, was shown, an art piece was demonstrated.
Note that in the competitions teams competed in the stages of "Obstacle course", "Combined fire relay", "Search and rescue", "Presentation of teams" and "Wall newspaper". At international competitions, Azerbaijan took the first place, the second place was taken by Georgia, and the third place went to the team of Russia. And in the championship of the country the first-place was awarded the team of secondary school number 220 of Nizami district of Baku city, the second place - the team of Yardimli region, and the third place - the team of Ismayilli region.
At the conclusion of the event winning teams were awarded. The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.
