The Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to Azerbaijan Daniel Cristian Ciobanu visited Gabala.
During his visit to Gabala region on August 1, 2016 the Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to Azerbaijan Daniel Cristian Ciobanu has been in Gabala Region Executive Power. The head of the Executive Power of the region Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev expressed his satisfaction with the greeting the Ambassador of the friendly Republic of Romania in ancient and modern Gabala. The head of the Executive Power of the region informed the Ambassador about the history of Gabala and talked about major social and economic infrastructure projects carried out in the region. The head noted that Gabala region develops as rapidly as any other region of Azerbaijan. Today Gabala is famous not only in the country but also internationally as the region with well-developed agriculture, industry, culture and a wide tourist potential. Currently, Gabala hosts very important events of international importance at a high level. By the way, VIII International Music Festival continues successfully in Gabala at the moment. Romanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Daniel Cristian Ciobanu stressed that he faced innovations, and Gabala became more beautiful and more developed in his every visit to Gabala. The Ambassador noted that his country is in favor of the right cause of Azerbaijan in all the influential international organizations. The Ambassador stressed that everyday growing cultural and economic relations between Romania and Azerbaijan are beneficial to both countries which he was very pleased to and said that the regions also had great potential for further expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
