IV International Competition of Young Pianists is being held in Gabala.

IV International Competition of Young Pianists has been held from August 2 within the framework of VIII Gabala International Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Young talented pianists of Russia and Azerbaijan demonstrate their skills for gaining awards in the competition organized by "Qafqaz Resort" hotel in Gabala city. The chairman of the jury of the competition, which will run until August 5, is Oksana Yablonskaya, and its members are Farhad Badalbayli, Murad Adigozalzada, Irina Starodub, Valida Suk, Maryam Maleki. Pianists taking the first, second and third places will be awarded 5000, 3000 and 2000 US dollars, respectively, in the competition, which consists of two rounds.
