Concert in memory of the late Ambassador Fuad Ismayilov was held in Gabala festival.

Ancient and modern Gabala city successfully hosts music festival, which is grand international project of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Chamber and orchestral concerts, mugham night, piano competition are held within Gabala VIII International Music Festival participated by prominent musicians, art ensembles, soloists and conductors from different countries. Jubilee events, concerts in the memory of well-known musicians are traditionally held every year in Gabala International Music Festival known around the world as a music festival in which, particularly the works of classical music are sounded. In accordance with festival program for local and foreign music lovers, concert dedicated to Fuad Ismayilov, who had been Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Austria and died in 2011, was organized in the chamber hall in Heydar Aliyev Congress Center on August 2. Pianist Mushvig Guliyev, the student of Conservatory named after Y. Haydn and University of Music and Performing Arts in Bratislava, performed the works of European composers I.S.Bach, F.Chopin, A. Scriabin and F.Liszt in memorial concert. It was reported that Mushvig Guliyev, the winner of "XXI Century Art" competition of young performers in two nominations (chamber ensemble and piano solo) held in Italy in 2012, laureate of III Stockholm International Competition in 2014, talented young pianist, was chosen the scholar of "Galajaya doghru" Charity Foundation created in memory of the late Ambassador Fuad Ismayilov in 2013. He was admitted to Conservatory named after J.Haydn, Austria, with the support of this foundation. Currently, M.Guliyev continues his study at the same university, simultaneously at University of Music and Performing Arts, Bratislava.
