Memorial Day of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held
Memorial Day of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held. Executive power attending the event with large numbers of people laid bunch of flowers at the monument of national leader, one of the greatest politically exposed persons of XX century. The head of district executive power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev laid wraith at the monument and paid tribute to the genius person. Afterwards staff of executive power, collectives of offices, enterprises, organizations, non-governmental associations, educational, health and cultural centers laid fresh carnations and flowers at the monument of Heydar Aliyev and honoured the memory of the great leader. The event followed with the visit to Heydar Aliyev Center. Acquaintance with the exposition reflecting the life and political activity of the national leader, his books and belongings generate the special interest in the event once again. Thousands of people of Gabala region visiting Heydar Aliyev’s monument on the Memorial Day turned great leader’s monument into the sacred pilgrimage not only on memorial days as well as on all historical and special days. The event was completed in the evening with funeral repast organized for people at “Qafqaz Sport Hotel”. The head of executive power Sabuhi Abdullayev gave detailed information about the great son of the whole Turkic world, outstanding political leader, architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijan our Great Leader Heydar Aliyev’s irreplaceable services before his native nation and country as well as life and activity. At the close of the event, Holy Quran was recited and prayers were said to the spirit of the great leader and his bright memory was honoured once more.
