About 300 athletes from 27 countries will take part in the Shooting World Cup in Gabala.
These days Gabala region will host another international sports event. The World Cup competitions in Olympic shooting among youth will be held from September 16 to 23, organized by the "Gabala" Shooting Club and Azerbaijan Shooting Federation, and with the support of the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth and Sport. The competition to be held at the trap shooting and archery complex in the Bum settlement of Gabala region is expected to involve about 300 athletes from 27 countries. Young girls and boys under the age of 21 will contest in several types of shooting within the World Cup competition. All necessary conditions have been provided to meet and accommodate the athletes and official guests. The official opening ceremony of the tournament will be held on September 16. Note that the competition to be held in accordance with the schedule of the International Shooting Sport Federation is one of the most important competitions after the World and European Championships.
