World Cup competitions in Olympic shooting among the youth continue.

With the organizational support of the "Gabala" Shooting Club and Azerbaijan Shooting Federation, with the support of the National Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth and Sports the competitions of the World Cup in Olympic shooting among youth were continued at the trap shooting and archery complex in the Bum village of Gabala region. On the third day of the competitions, the winners of the competitions on shooting with a small-caliber rifle at a distance of 10 meters among young men and women, as well as among young men shooting at a distance of 50 meters with a small-caliber pistol, and speed shooting with 5 shots at a distance of 25 meters were found. In the competition on shooting with a small-caliber rifle at a distance of 10 meters among young men the first place was taken by the Czech athlete Philip Nepeshal, the second place - Japanese shooter Atsushi Shimada, the third place - the representative of India Arjun Babuta. In the competition on shooting from a small-caliber rifle at a distance of 10 meters among young women the first place was taken by Russian athlete Anastasia Galashina, the second place - the representative of Russia Tatiana Kharkova, the third place - shooter from Singapore Martina Lindsay Veloso. In the competition on shooting with a small-caliber pistol at a distance of 50 meters among young men Russian athletes Artyom Chernosov, Anton Zanin, Alexander Basariyev took I-III places, respectively. Also in the competition on speed shooting with 5 shots at a distance of 25 meters among young men the first place was taken by the Indian athlete Rushiraj Barot, the second place - the Czech shooter Lucas Skomal, the third place - the representative of Austria Sergey Evglevski. After the competitions, the awarding ceremony of the athletes and teams, taking the first 3 places, was held. Medals were awarded to the athletes by the Head of Gabala Region Executive Power Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev.
