Delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan got acquainted with sport life of Gabala region.
The meeting between the Delegation of Malik Saad Shaheed Memorial Sports Trust of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, coming to Gabala with official visit, and the Head of Executive Power of Gabala region, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev, was held on the exchange of ideas. During the meeting, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev told about the attention given by the President of the country, honorable Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to the development of sports in the country, about the work carried out in the region in the field of sports, existing sports structures, built and put into operation sports facilities, as well as concern of the state about the athletes.
Head of the delegation said that the purpose of the visit is to learn more about the sport experience of Azerbaijan, get acquainted with the achievements in this field and to apply this experience in their own country.
Within the framework of two-day visit, today the guests arrived at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex, familiarized with gym, swimming pool, fitness facilities, tennis, volleyball and mini football court.
After that, arriving at Gabala Football Club, they reviewed the constructed and commissioned for the trainings of players at a high level, meeting the requirements of FIFA and UEFA, 6 football fields with natural covering, and 4 with artificial ones, and with the construction of the roofed stadium with 15000 seats.
Pakistani delegation also arrived at the complex for trapshooting and archery in the Bum village.
They walked all the sections used in Olympic competitions and provided with all technical facilities, learned about the experience of the educational center created for children and adolescents.
The visit of the Delegation to Gabala was completed.
