An event was held devoted to November 12 - Constitution Day.
The Gabala Culture Center hosted an event devoted to November 12 - Constitution Day. The meeting was opened by the Head of the Gabala region Department of Culture and Tourism Nargila Gafarova. It was noted that with the adoption of the Constitution on November 12, 1995, the bases of the state system were laid in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It has been brought to the attention that our constitution, prepared and adopted under the direct supervision of the architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijan state Heydar Aliyev, created the conditions for the implementation of reforms, covering all spheres of life of the state and society. Among the speakers at the meeting, Chief Consultant of the Department of the Gabala Region Executive Power on socio-political and humanitarian issues Azer Shirinov, Deputy director of the Culture Center Shabnam Kamalli, chairperson of the NAP Youth Organization of Gabala Region Namig Aghayev, director of the Gabala Central Library Ramiz Mirzayev, evaluated the first national constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a perfect legal document, corresponding the standards of international law, paying considerable attention to human rights and freedoms. Exceptional service and value of the constitution in the formation and development of our national statehood were noted, it was brought to the attention that for the period elapsed since the adoption of the basic law in Azerbaijan, the great progress has been made in creation of democratic and legal state, adoption of important legislative acts.
