Students from 8 regions, being members of a tour-campaign "Learning our country", visited Gabala.
By the order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, on November 12 the regular educational tour-campaigns entitled "Learning our country" started for students of IX-XI classes of cities and regions of our republic. Members of the 8 groups, consisting of students from Sabirabad, Saatli, Zardab, Bilasuvar, Jabrail, Hajigabul, Kurdamir and Ujar, visited Gabala region. In Gabala city students were met by the representatives of the executive power and department of education of the region in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center. Then, the students, met and accommodated at a high level in the "Qafqaz Karvansaray" and "Qafqaz Yeddi Gözəl" hotels, were given detailed information about the importance of the organized tour-campaign being of the educational nature. In accordance with the program, the tree-planting campaign entitled "Learning our country" with the participation of 320 students and teachers guiding them of secondary schools from 8 regions took place in the Gabala city. During the gardening campaign, held with the organizational support of the Gabala Region Executive Power, students have planted and watered over 400 fir trees, maples and oaks. Within the campaign the students acquainted with historical places, museums, entertainment centers, manufacturing facilities, as well as tourism sphere in the regoin.
