Gabala region schoolchildren were seen off to the tour-trip to Guba, Gusar and Khachmaz regions within the "Learning our country" project.

Within the framework of the "Learning our country" project, organized for the students of IX-XI classes of the cities and regions of our country according to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the departure ceremony was held of the schoolchildren of Gabala region to the tour-trip to Guba, Gusar and Khachmaz regions. Speaking at the departure ceremony in the foyer of the Gabala Culture Center, the Department Head of the region Executive Power on the socio-political and humanitarian affairs, deputy head of the Region Executive Power Ataya Osmanova talked about the importance of campaign, organized according to the instructions of the Head of State. It was noted that one of the main goals of the state youth policy carried out in Azerbaijan, is to educate the young generation in the spirit of love of the motherland. The educational tour-campaigns, held under the motto "Learning our country", serve for this goal. At the ceremony, the head of the Region Educational Department Ogtay Hajiyev and the head of the Youth and Sports Department of the region Fakhri Soltanov in their speeches brought to attention that the project is important from the point of view of educating the country's youth in the spirit of patriotism and respect for the historical and cultural heritage, to further enrich the world view of the students. At the meeting, the IX-year student of Vandam village full secondary school No. 1 Saida Yasharli told in her speech: "I have visited many regions of our country. And in this tour-campaign me and my schoolmates will get acquainted with the nature and the sights of Guba, Gusar and Khachmaz regions. During the visit, we will get the wealth of information about the history, customs and traditions, development of our country. I am grateful for this to the organizers of the tour-campaign." Then, the participants of the tour-campaign, visiting the Heydar Aliyev Park, laid fresh flowers at the monument to the National Leader. To organize educational tour-campaigns the region executive power established the headquarters and appointed the head of the group, the special clothing was distributed to students. Parents and students who participated in the departure ceremony expressed their gratitude to the Head of State Mr. Ilham Aliyev. In conclusion, students and accompanees, who will participate in the tour-campaign, departed to the Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz route by the special bus provided to them.
