Within the "Learning our country" project students of Gabala region will get acquainted with northern regions of Azerbaijan.
Within the educational tour-campaign, held under the title "Learning our country", according to the order of the President Ilham Aliyev, 40 students of IX-XI classes of Gabala region secondary schools, arrived for a trip to the northern region. Students, who arrived in Guba, were ceremonially welcomed in the Cultural and Recreation Park named after Heydar Aliyev. After visiting the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the park, students were provided the detailed information about the region. Participants of the tour-campaign, who visited the Heydar Aliyev Center, got acquainted here with a museum reflecting the life and work of the Great Leader. At the center, they also examined the photo stands reflecting the visits of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to different regions of our country in the years of his presidency in Azerbaijan. Then the students got acquainted with the Youth Centre. According to the program the students, participating in the tour, will visit tours to sights and historical monuments in Guba, Gusar and Khachmaz regions till November 20.
