The trips of the Gabala region students as part of the tour-campaign on the Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz route.
The trips of secondary schools representing Gabala region, on Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz route within the educational tour-campaign "Learning our country" completed on 20 November. On the last day of trip, 40 participants of educational tour-campaign got acquainted with the sights of Khachmaz city. Participants of the tour-campaign were received in the Heydar Aliyev Park in the center of Khachmaz by the representatives of the Region Executive Power and the region Departments of Education, Culture and Tourism. Here, students visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev. It was brought to the attention of participants of the tour-campaign, that Khachmaz is one of the regions, standing out with wide tourism opportunities. In addition, Khachmaz, called the city of parks and museums, is one of the largest agricultural regions of our country. The guests also visited the newly built Heydar Aliyev Center. The students were informed that the opening ceremony of the new building of the Heydar Aliyev Center was held within the visit to Khachmaz region of the President Ilham Aliyev in September this year. The photographs and exhibits reflecting different periods of the life and work of the Great Leader were demonstrated in the center. Then students came to the open-air Museum of Personalities in Khachmaz city, where the busts of prominent Azerbaijani poets and writers, workers of culture and art are installed. The trip participants were informed in detail about the museum-park, created in 2006. Participants of the tour-campaign also visited Khachmaz Region Local History Museum. After getting acquainted with Khachmaz State Art Gallery, students arrived at Flag Square Complex. After a walk in the Meydan and Chenlibel parks, completing the trip, the students went to Gabala.
