The new mulberry gardens are established in Gabala.
In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev in connection with the development of our country's export-oriented products, including silk, starting from this year the interest and attention to this area in Gabala seriously increased. At the moment, for the development of sericulture in the region new mulberry gardens are established and the old ones are restored. As a whole, it is planned to plant hundred thousand mulberry saplings in the region for the development of this area, 25500 saplings have already been planted. 1500 saplings were planted on the lands belonging to the forest fund by the Enterprise for Forest Protection and Restoration, 20 thousand saplings on the lands owned by the sericulturists, 4000 saplings on the lands of the State Fund.
