The Meeting in the Region Executive Power.

An enlarged meeting was held in the Gabala Region Executive Power in connection with the December 31 - International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and the end of the 2016 calendar year. The heads of law enforcement bodies, institutions, enterprises and organizations, representatives of local administrative areas, chairpersons of municipalities and representatives of public associations had been invited to the meeting. Opening the meeting, the Head of the Region Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev congratulated all the participants of the event in connection with December 31 - the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and the New Year. He mentioned that this holiday plays an important role in further strengthening the relations between our countrymen and compatriots living in different countries, with our republic, in the establishment of unity and solidarity among the Azerbaijanis of the world. He noted that taking into account the importance of building the national unity of our compatriots living around the world, Chairperson of the Milli Majlis of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Heydar Aliyev on December 16, 1991 had announced the December 31 as the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis. Sabuhi Abdullayev brought to the attention that the International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis is a symbol of the unity of our people and plays an important role in the establishment of unity and solidarity among the more than 50 million Azerbaijanis living in more than 70 countries around the world. Then other items of the agenda were considered. At the meeting in connection with the completion of the year, the timely completion of the execution of documents and information of reporting nature, control of seasonal work in schools, kindergartens, health centers and other social facilities, work of the service organizations in emergency mode in the non-working days were discussed in detail and appropriate instructions were given in connection with them.
