An educational campaign was held on the subject of fire safety of office buildings.
In the auditorium of the Executive Power of Gabala Region round table was held dedicated to the subject of fire safety of office buildings with the participation of the staff of the head of the Executive Power of the Region.
Speaking at the event, the senior inspector, lieutenant-colonel of internal service of the Organizational Department of the State Fire Supervision of SSFS of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Republic, Elchin Huseynov, provided information on fire statistics of the departments, enterprises and organizations.
Attributing to the key factors of the fires in these places the causes such as lack of fire fighting primary equipment, people's ignorance of the rules of correct use of them, he gave detailed information about the use of fire fighting primary equipment, including technical features of automatic extinguishing ball, weighing 1.3 kg, produced in Thailand, which is a new technology of automatic fire fighting.
It was noted that extinguishing ball, fulfilling its function in 3-5 seconds during a fire, covers 8.3 cubic meters. Touching during a round table upon the questions of work safety and technical safety, in addition to preventive measures related to fire safety, it was noted that to ensure a safe and healthy working conditions, workers should follow the instructions for the protection of labor, labor and production discipline.
During the event, the members of MES explained the preventive measures during a fire in the office buildings, rules of the use of fire-fighting equipment available in office buildings, answered the questions of the participants. After that, the commemorative booklets were distributed to the participants of the event titled "Fire safety of the office buildings."
The event was attended by the Head of the department of communication outreach of the State Service of Fire Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the colonel of internal service Hikmet Khudiyev, and instructor of the department of communication outreach of SSFS, Nizami Farajov.
