Educational tour-campaign arranged under the slogan “Learning our country” ended with pleasant and rich impressions of schoolchildren of Gabala region.

On March 23-26 the student of IX-XI classes of Gabala region participating in  the educational tours-campaigns arranged under the slogan “Learning our country”, as well as, group leaders accompanying them and the teachers were closely acquainted with historical monuments, holy places and cultural centers of Ganja city, Shamkir and Goygol regions, as well as, the tourism, recreation and social facilities built in the city in recent years.

On March 24, schoolchildren visited Mausoleum complex of Nizami Ganjavi, a great thinker, genius Azerbaijani poet, Nizami Ganjavi Museum, Imamzade Religious and Architectural Complex, Shah Abbas Mosque, “Chokak Hamam”, Ughurlu Khan Caravanserai and were acquainted with the last ruler of Ganja khanate, Javad Khan Mausoleum, Javad Khan street reminding Air-museum, Mahsati Ganjavi Boulevard Complex newly built around Ganja river. The next day, on March 25, Gabala region schoolchildren visited Shamkir region. The participants were welcomed by Mr. Alimpasha Mammadov, Head of Executive Power of Shamkir Region in front of Heydar Aliyev Center. Schoolchildren viewed the photos reflecting the rich heritage of the Great Leader and books dedicated to the National Leader in Heydar Aliyev Center. It was noted that in the Center the similar work room and Office which National Leader had worked in the period of executing different positions were set up. In Shamkir region, pupils from the region familiarized with Heydar Aliyev Center, Shamkir Tower, Flag Museum, German Lutheran Church and "Intelligence” Youth Center. In the second half of the day, tour-campaign participants left for Goygol region.  The schoolchildren were welcomed by the Director of the Department of Social-Political and Humanitarian Issues of Executive Power of Goygol Region, Kamala Ibrahimova, and Deputy Head of Executive Power of Region, the employees of Region Culture and Tourism Department, as well as, the representatives of the city public. Song and dance groups of Goygol city performed with an interesting musical program before schoolchildren. Participants of tour-campaign were acquainted with Heydar Aliyev Center, Flag Square, Youth Center and German houses. After acquainting with Goygol, the participants returned to Ganja city. In the evening, intellectual game named What? Where? When? was organized for the pupils having joined the educational tour-campaign in the route of Ganja-Shamkir-Goygol of “Learning our country” in Ramada Plaza hotel, Ganja city. The schoolchildren of Absheron, Sheki, Shamakhi, Oghuz, Gabala and Ismayilli regions took part in the game. First of all the participants were divided into different groups, 6 people per group. The participants of game were presented 20 questions on different areas in the tournament which 12 teams took part in. In this game, “Niyal” and “Babadagh” teams of Ismayilli region won the first and second place respectively. “Gadim Gabala” team of Gabala region won the third place. The cups and diplomas were given to the winners and certificates were given to the participants of the game by Juries. Moreover, valuable gifts were presented to the best teams by the participants joined from Gabala region. On March 26, last day of the educational tour-campaign the participants of “Learning our country” tour-campaign also joined the noble initiative. They planted a tree as a memory in Heydar Aliyev Park Complex. So, the educational tour-campaign in the route of Ganja-Shamkir-Goygol of “Learning our country” project carried out in accordance with the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev ended with pleasant and rich impressions of Gabala region school children.
