In the first quarter of 2017, 675 unemployed people applied to the Gabala Region Employment Center. 291 people from them were provided with work in accordance with their profession. Mostly, citizens were employed in construction, gas supply and water supply, healthcare, tourism, social and public services, hotels, shops and restaurants. In addition, the Region Employment Center sent 19 people to vocational training courses under the title "Basics of Entrepreneurship", 12 people received the status of unemployed, they were paid allowance.
