Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Azerbaijan Mag. Axel Wech arrived to Gabala region.

The Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Austria to Azerbaijan Mag. Axel Wech visited Gabala region in view of raising an awareness.
The Ambassador Plenipotentiary was met by the Head of the Region Executive Power, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev in the executive building. First, Mag.  Axel Wech, examining the stand dedicated to Heydar Aliyev in the administrative building, got acquainted with the photos reflecting the life and work of the National Leader. Further, within the framework of the organized meeting, the head of the REP informed in detail about the Gabala region. It was brought to the attention that a clear example of socio-economic development achieved to date in our republic can be clearly seen in Gabala region. It was noted that the modern production enterprises and tourist and recreation complexes created here play an exceptional role in the growth of the economic development dynamics of the region's wonderful and picturesque nature. Speaking about the cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Austria, Mr. Sabuhi Abdullayev noted the important way of development of the Austrian-Azerbaijani cultural ties and brought to the attention that the participation of the Vienna chamber music ensemble at the International Music Festival, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Gabala, further strengthens the ties between countries in the field of culture and art. Signifying satisfaction from the trip to the Gabala region, Mag. Axel Wech expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and attention shown. The Ambassador Plenipotentiary, who noted the relations between Austria and Azerbaijan in many areas at a high level, stressed that all this gives a great impetus to the development of mutual ties between the countries. Within the framework of the visit, the Ambassador Plenipotentiary Mag. Axel Wech got acquainted with cultural and historical places, industrial enterprises, tourist, sports and recreation complexes, created conditions and the principle of work in the Gabala regional "ASAN service" center.
