The elder honored the memory of the Great Leader.
A meeting dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the Region Council of Elders. The meeting was opened by the introductory speech of the chairperson of the Region Council of Elders Nazim Mustafayev.
After the chairperson of the council told the participants about the life and activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the floor was turned over to the elders, who worked in various positions during the leadership of the great leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan. First, the memories about the great leader were shared by the elder Shirin Shirinov, who worked in the leadership position in the region during the years of leadership of Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan in Soviet times. The elder Samad Samadov told the participants about pleasant memories of the meeting with the great leader.
Niyazi Babayev of the speakers noted that he was honored to get to know Heydar Aliyev closely, during the first visit of the great leader to Gabala in 1978. At the same time, he noted that all the people he knew in his duty, regardless of their position and nationality, showed great respect to Heydar Aliyev.
A former employee of the internal service, a retired officer Ali Mammadov, a worker Vagif Azimov and others made speeches on behalf of the elders. They shared their thoughts on the invaluable role of Heydar Aliyev and the successor of his course, our respected President Ilham Aliyev, in turning Azerbaijan today into a well-known state in the world.
